Last blogged @ 8:04:00 PM It's over. My fate's already sealed. Now, I just have to wait for the results, which I don't know when will be revealed. So let's see. The paper was quite tough. And that's what Cikgu say also. But some people say it was easy. I don't know lah. But to me, paper 1 was quite tough considering I am not a narrative and I am only narrowed to writing the expository essay. And to me, the expository was quite tough. The ideas didn't flow as well as when I write other essays. And for the bahagian A, I'm always not used to writing so, I'm also narrowed down to write the dialogue. And the dialogue question was also tough. The surat rasmi question was easy except for a tiny part of it which ask to describe your particulars in details, and this type Cikgu never teach before, so I didn't choose. Paper 2 was ok la. Cause I didn't trip on any question except for a question or 2. But the rest, I think it was ok. I will now have to wait for the results. Patiently.

Last blogged @ 3:31:00 PM Second day of truncated over. I think I'm loving it. After every subject a 25 minutes break. How cool can it get. But on the other hand, the lessons thought won't be effective. Why? Firstly, students will be "clock-watcher" they will be looking at the clock all the time, waiting for the 1 hour to be over and waiting for their break. Lessons won't be effective. Secondly, after evey break, students will stroll in and lessons won't be able to start on time. Lessons drag and cannot finish on time. No wonder they only do these truncated during holidays and not for normal curriculum periods. Like that people will surely won't do well for exams. Second day of truncated, had all the lessons in the auditorium. And when I say all it's like every subject that I attended are all in the auditorium. First time, physics in the auditorium with all the combined science people. First time had lessons with the other Physics smart people. How can they respond to Mrs Goh's question and with the correct answer everytime, when I only know some of the answers. Haiz. Smart people. As usual English and A Maths lecture in the auditorium. Yupp, so nothing new. And today, 3F was the only class that can go home early. The other classes have 4 subjectsa today, whil ethe 3F people have 3 subjects. So, we could go home early at 11.30 am. I am still wondering why we can go home early. Haha. Tomorrow is the day. The day that will determine my very first A for the GCE 'O' level. The day that will determine if I can still continue taking Higher Malay next year. I have to do my best. Cannot let myslef down and especially Cikgu Nadira. Actually, this is to prove to Cikgu that I can do it and I'm not always slacking. Good Luck to all HMT people. We can do it.

Last blogged @ 7:11:00 PM I bought my first pair of contact lenses yesterday!!! Haha. I think that it is more troublesome than spectacles. Should have just stayed with spectacles. But wearing contacts is very cool. But you must pay a small price. Like waking up early in the morning just to put two lenses in your eye. Why, cause I take around 15 minutes just to get the two lenses in my eyes. I hope that as the time go by, it will get faster. So ya, yesterday at the optician, I took around more than 45 minutes, to get that thing in my eye. And my hand was shivering when I wanted to put the lens on my left eye. At that point in time, I was regretting buying contact lenses. After putting in on, it was quite uncomfortable. Then when I was getting use to it, I had to open it, cause going to sleep already. So, in the morning, I try my luck to put the lenses in my eyes. Surprisingly, I took 1 attempt to put the lens in my right eye. I was so happy. Tried to do it to the left eye, but failed. Had to do a few attempts. Then when I finally managed to out it in, it was the wrong side, so very pain. Had to take out again and put on the correct side. Haha. Taking out the lenses is very easy. Today was firtst day of truncated lessons. I prefer truncated lessons to normal lessons. Why? Cause we get 25 minutes break in between lessons. In this case, we like have around 3 recesses. So fun. Imagine if normal school day is like this. Then I will be enjoying school. Haha. I love truncated. Tomorrow I will have all lessons in the audi. Hahah. So looking forward to it.

Last blogged @ 10:12:00 AM Went to a 10 Course Banquet yesterday. Well, I won't say the meal was splendid nor am I going to say it was lousy, it was an average kind of meal. And it was some Hari Raya Dinner, so the food is in line with the occasion. The First Course: The Second Course: The Third Course: The Fourth Course: The Fifth Course: The Sixth Course: The Seventh Course: The Eighth Course: The Ninth Course: The Tenth Course: So ya, that was the full menu for yesterdays' Banquet. Haha. I was already full at the third course. Haha. Surprise. Haha. Although the seventh course was nice, it was very spicy. The Eighth course was the best. Band was ok yesterday. SLs and Majors had to come early yesterday for extra "tekan" session. Well, it was not actually "tekan" session, but I think I benefit from it. Now I know how to correct my juniors when they are wrong. Haha. In the afternoon, it was a bit slack for us cause, we only walk around our section when the rest of the band are doing drills, the purpose was to correct our juniors. Now they can spin more correctly. Except for the instrument problem. I'm still thinking for a solution. No more cheating for trombone section from now on :)

Last blogged @ 6:43:00 PM Finally!!! Last day of school. But not exactly last day of school for me. There is still truncated lessons for me, plus CCAs. While the rest of the Secondary school population are sleeping at around 6.30 am. I will be leaving house to go to school. Why? Because lessons will start as per normal at 7.30 am. What to do? Cannot be helped. Then after truncated lessons there is still band. Until 6.30 plus plus. So, let's see, most of my holidays will be spent in school. No wonder I don't feel anything when teacher release us from school and she was happyly saying Happy Holidays. We got back report book today. The results was unexpected. The results I signed the other day, the marks was like 50 plus. Then when I get back report book today, the marks are like 60 plus. Damn shocking. When I ask, they say the marks I signed was for Term 3 and 4 only. Oh. Cheat my feeling only. Haha. Anyways, I think that I should just put my grades here la. I can't believe I just typed that. I'm letting the whole world see my damn bad results. And the no As' results. Haiz. I think that I will have to work not doubly but triply hard for next year 'O's if I want to go to JC. Well, that's what Mrs Koh say, so it must be correct. Teacher's are always correct. Well, let me say something about yesterdays' bazaar. It was super duper fun. I reached school at around 7 am. Then realised that there was not enough ice. So, ran to the nearest Shell station with Madhiah and Beatrice to buy more ice. Then at 8am, went to watch the Battle of the Band. It was super nice. Except for some people who cannot sing. And it's only the singer, the band was very good. All the band was good. I wanted to watch the 10 am show, but Adzizul say that they will play the same songs, so I didn't buy tix. Then I walked around to buy food. And I only eat hotdog and popsicle. The coolest thing was, there was a neoprint machine in the school library. Me, Beatrice and Geraldine went to take. I will upload the photo once I get the cards from her. Haha. Then planned to go to haunted house but the queue was long. So didn't go. My shift started at 10. So went to do my duty. A lot of people went to our stall. And for once I thought we were going to win best class. Haha. Jia Wen's father send us stock cause our stock finish. Thanks Mr Lee. Overall, thw Bazaar was a syccess. Better than when I was in Sec 1. That was crap la.

Last blogged @ 6:18:00 PM I didn't know that a always not together class like 3F could get along together and even shop together. Although we rarely see each other for lessons, except for Maths and Science not counting PE and CE, we could really get along together. And it's not those type of all girls outing, but this is like boys and girls outing. I think that our class can get along with each other even better than some other classes who see each other for every lesson. Why I say this. Well, today, almost half of the 3F population, went to Bedok to shop for the stuff for the bazaar. The guys were so damn sporting la. Especially those who I expected them to not be sporting. Haha. No offence. We shopped for quite sometime and could not decide what to buy. All thanks to me cause I cannot make up my mind. Haha. And after some very long thinking and discussing, we finally bought the stuff. Then we all ate at KFC. Haha The 3F girls are also very united. Just now after the shopping,we went to Tampines Mall, to buy present. Haha. It was damn fun la. 3F girls shopping day. We should do this more often. It's very fun shopping wif you gals. Haha. We should go to more fun places such as Orchard or stuff like that. And we should shop togehter for next years grad night. Haha. I love 3F even more now. And it's like ending of the year already. NVM there is still next year and it's our last year together. So, we should have more outings and to the girls of 3F we should go SHOPPING together also!!!

Last blogged @ 6:06:00 PM Got it finally!!! The results for the FYE. And, it's very very bad, as expected. Just hope that I can pass english, so can get promoted. So far, I have gotten back, E Maths, Malay Lit, Physics, Chemistry, Higher Malay. And none fail. Phew. But the marks damn bad la. Haiz... A Maths paper 2, Chemistry MCQ, Geog Elect, Social Studies, English, all haven't get back yet. And I'm not looking forward to all these papers. Except English, cause this determines if I get promoted or not. Sec 3 was suppose to be easy. Pass English and 2 other subjects and you get promoted. But I dunno, somehow, it seems harder than sec 2. English. This year, they teach some comprehension skills. Own Words, make equation. Then underline text wordings, question wordings, language cues. But I think that it does not work well for me. The more they teach, the more I fail. I have never failed English in my whole entire student life. I don't know how come they teach this skills and I fail. But supposeingly, these skills will improve the comprehension. And some more, they assure us that if we use the skills, we will surely pass the paper. Then I studiously followed the instruction and underlined all the question wordings, text wordings, and what did I get. Still a FAIL. Haiz... Now, I'm still waiting for my Paper 2, summary, Paper 1, Situational writing and Paper 1, Narrative. These are the only papers that will ensure me my promotion. Malay Lit. Haiz. Serve me right la. Never study. Then study wrong things. I think I deserve the marks I get. But still a bit sad, cause the lowest in class. Never ever get that kind of marks before la. So, better get distinction for next year 'O' Level or, the distinction level for Malay Lit won't be 100%. I think that I did a huge huge mistake in choosing the question. One lesson learnt. Always be wise in choosing the question and if you are stuck in answering the question then try recalling the story again. I think if I have choosen the correct question and I have divided my time wisely, then I can get around a B3. Haiz. See the grade jump so much. So, better be wise next time. Tomorrow band re-opens!!! One side of me says that I should be enthu about it, cause I can get to see my dear juniors again. But another side of me says that I should not be enthu cause of the bad results. This is so as, the bandmasters would soon be collecting our results slip, and if they see mine, I think that they will faint or something la. LOL! I'm exageratting. So, I think for now, I will just go for band. Cause I think that it is better than staying at home. Haha. Malay 'O' level is only around two weeks away.

Last blogged @ 5:16:00 PM Selamat Hari Raya!!! First day of Hari Raya, always go jalan raya. But this year abit different, cause got my nenek at home. So, people will be coming my house. Therefore, I went to only one house. But quite a few families came to my house. First time in history, people come to my house during first day of Hari Raya. Haha. Quite fun la. New experience. Second day, was better. Went to 4 houses. Haha. The first 2 houses was relatives house, and the next two houses family friend house. After that, went home, cause expecting people to come. Mother's friends and the band boys. LOL! So, went home to prepare things. They stayed until I dunno what time. Today, went shopping early in the morning. Haha. Went Bugis. But before that, went to have breakfast. Too bad, almost all the malay stalls were closed. Therefore, had to eat Indian food. LOL! Did some shopping and then went home. Haha. So long never go shopping already, since the exams. But actually, I wanted to watch a movie, but too bad no friends. Lmao! Tomorrow, school. Can't wait to go school. Even if we are getting our results tomorrow, it is still better than sitting at home doing nothing. If everything is well, I will be getting back my A Maths, English, E Maths, Malay, Chemistry and Physics paper. That means, that I will be getting all my papers except the humans papers. Haiz. Here goes nothing.

Last blogged @ 8:33:00 AM It's not the fault of the student if he fails, because the year ONLY has 365 days. Typical academic year for a student: 1. Sundays - 52 Sundays in a year, you know Sundays are for rest. Days left 313. 2. Summer holidays - 50 where weather is very hot and difficult to study. Days left 263. 3. 8 hours daily sleep - 130 days GONE. Days left 141. 4. 1 hour for daily playing- (good for health) means 15 days. Days left 126. 5. 2 hours daily for food & other delicacies (chewing properly & swallowing) - means 30 days. Days left 96. 6. 1 hour for talking (man is a social animal) - means 15 days. Days left 81. 7. Exam days - per year at least 35 days. Days left 46. 8. Quarterly, half yearly and festival (holidays) - 40 days. Days left 6. 9. For sickness - at least 3 days. Days left 3. 10. Movies and functions- at least 2 days. 1 day left. 11. That 1 day is your birthday. How can you study on that day ?!?!?!?!?! Balance = 0 " How can a student pass ?????"

Let's see, now that EOY is over, what should I do? Watch movie? Go out and chill? Go jalan raya? I dunno la. Now that's it's over I dunno what to do. When it was still on, I want to go to the weirdest places. Haha. I think that I am so not going to look forward to this year's December holidays. Why? I cannot go overseas!!! I was really hoping that I can go overseas. But looks like it will be postponed to next year, I hope! After 'O' level then go overseas. This holidays, I may not be going overseas but I will be in school for band practices. I think I can look forward to it. Haha. There is still concert to look forward to. I think that's all I'm looking forward during the December hols.

Last blogged @ 5:27:00 PM Today from 9am to around 5.10pm, there is this shutdown of power supply at my house. They do this to fix some wiring in the flat. I thought I could manage without the power supply, but after looking around and figured out that almost 95% of my household appliances are electrical, I started to feel if I could survive until 5. So, at first I played on the guitar, cause that one don't need electricity. After about half an hour, I stopped and played the trombone. After that I decided to have some sleep, but before doing that, I listened to my MP3 player and played some handphone game. I'm so thankful that there is power supply in Singapore, or I will have a hard time surviving. Electrical Appliances is part of my life and without it maybe life would be very, very boring. Sastera paper was a killer. It was such a bummer cause I study the wrong sajak, so, I couldn't answer the sajak part. So, I picked the easiest question to answer. But I think that it was a load of crap. Hiaz. My plan was to answer two sajak question and one question in the rest of the section. Because of the mistake, I answered two prosa and one question each from the other sections. I think I would not do good in this paper. I would be very happy if I could pass the paper. Hiaz. Die la.

Last blogged @ 3:22:00 PM I just found this new game. But not telling what. It's dam cool la. Better than neopets. Cause never lag. But too bad I need to have some sort of device to unlock all the other features in the game. I'm trying to buy the device. So now saving money to buy the device. Haha. Hope that the thing not so expensive. Haha. Nazurah just offered me some job at City Plaza. I don't know to take or not. It's like a school day and I think there should be band on that day. Hiaz. I want to work, so can get money. Maybe during the holidays can. But then again, there is band. I think I will have to put off with the idea of working during the holidays for the time being. Maybe after 'o' level? Let me see, I'm counting down days for events this month... I think that I will really look forward to this month and the subsequent months before the new year. School after Final Term Exam is always fun. But this year, I don't know if it will be the same. Maybe I will just look forward to the school Bazaar. Cause this time the bazaar I can eat. Last two years, it was during the fasting month, so cannot buy food to eat. Haha. My playing is going to screw up big time, when band re-opens. I haven't been practicing, since band closes. I just practice on my mouthpiece, but not the whole instrument. Hiaz. I want to play, but just cannot find the time to play it. Study, study, study. See, no time to slot for practicing. I think I'm going to practice during the marking day. But then again, maybe have to help clean up house for Hari Raya. Looks like I cannot practice on my trombone. Hiaz, Have to wait until band re-opens ^.^ |
