Second post of the day :D

Damn it la. Looks like I can't wear contacts for awhile. And wearing specs is not nice when people like Harith and Kenneth say I look like (insert name here). So I hope that I can wear my lenses tomorrow so that I wouldn't have a twin. Wearing specs for drills is also very irritating, I have to keep adjusting my specs whenever I spin. Get well soon my precious eyes :D

I don't know why I'm getting emotional about the Service Award? Or maybe I'm just jealous that all my other friends will be getting the SA and I'm not getting one? Well, come to think of it, this SA is just a recognition to those who have done Service to the CCA. Or maybe I should say, the SA is for those who does extra Service for the CCA. Being Section Leader does not equate to getting a Service Award. If I were to agree with this statement, I will be very stupid. A little part of me is still hoping that Mr Lee will chance his mind and all the SLs will get the Service Award too.

Actually, being SL has taught me alot of things and it has stretched my leadership potential. Although we're like SLaves, come to think of it, I enjoy being the SL. We're the heartbeat of the section.Although we are seen as the "not so important post", We experience emotional breakdown for other fellow band members. We use up all our brain juice to think on how to solve a certain problem. We slogged to catch up what we missed during combine and sectional. So, to the Sec 3s who have doubt about becoming SL, think again. Being SL is really FUN and you will enjoy it once you get the hang of it.
