The future MRT map of Singapore.

Well I dont know how true this is, but I was surfing Singaporepropertymarket.com and they showed me this info.

Schedule of train completion
Boon Lay extention - Ready by 2009
Jurong region LRT - to be announced

Sentosa Express:
Waterfront station - ready by 2010

Circle Line(CCL) will be open in 2 stages:
Stage 1 - Dhoby Ghaut to Marymount - ready by late 2010
Stage 2 - Botanic Gardens to Harbour Front - ready by 2011

Downtown Line(DTL) will open in 3 stages:
Stage 1 - Downtown extension (DT) - ready by 2013
Stage 2 - Bukit Time line (BT) - ready by 2015
Stage 3 - Eastern region line (ER) - ready by 2018

North Coast or North Shore Line - to be further announced

Yupp! So the Singapore line will be super complicated. Like soo many many lines! And so we cannot call it using colours anymore but must follow the abbreviations. Cause got some the colour like almost the same. The green line, then still have the dirty green line. Will be very complicated. And Since everything will only be ready by like 2018, that means, SIngapore will be under construction until then.. NOOO!!! But it's okay la, after everything's complete, we can take MRT wherever we go! Now, this makes me think twice if I should take my driving license or not. HAHA!

The future MRT lines somehow reminds me of the complicating Subway lines at Japan. I have a picture of the Japan Subway line.

I think this is only the subway line for Tokyo.

Okay! Everyone get my drift. See, the future Singapore MRT map and this Tokyo subway map. Will be very very similar.. Soo many lines, soo many colour. Soo complicating. Well, to complicate things even more, let's add London underground tube map. HAHAH!

See soo many layers.. The different colours are the different layers of London. The inner one being the city and the outer ones being the rural areas. Cool much! HAHA! So yupp. The 3 different countries, or should I say, 2 cities and 1 country with super complicating train lines! HAHA!! I just love the complexity of life =))
