The Watoto Children's Choir came to SAJC today for a special chapel programme.

For the first time ever in 2 years, I defied the tutor and just stayed in the CC and not go for the alternative programme for the Muslim students =\ Yeah. I learn from the J2s uh. They never go on Thursday and thus, I followed them and not go for the alternative programme also =)

The Watoto Children's choir is a choir from Uganda(Africa). They come to spread the word and improve the lives of African children. Looking at them sing and dance on stage with a smile on their face touched my heart. Even though they lead a not so fortunate life like us, people in Singapore, they're still thankful and live everyday to the fullest. seeing the smile on their faces really set me thinking. If they, people with poverty problems and also social problems can be happy, why not us? After looking at them, I feel very grateful that I'm living in a place where everything is provided for and also have both parents with us. Yet, we are still not grateful and do not lead a happy life. I really salute the Uganda kids as they can still bring joy to other people's life even though they themselves are suffering great hardship! Given a chance, I would really like to initiate an overseas CIP to the African continent to help these people and help their generation to have an AIDS-free Generation =)

From the Watoto Children's Choir, I learn that we should really be grateful and must have compassion for one another, especially the less fortunate =)
